Eastern philosophies have occupied Kalata since early childhood. His father raised him by reading him a children’s adaptation of the Bhagavad Gita. At the age of 5 he started practicing karate and for a period of 10 years participated in numerous demonstrations. In high school, life encountered him with long-time practicing yogis, which ignited his interest in New Age philosophy and meditation.
As an adult, Kalata turned to Hatha Yoga to regain his natural vitality, emotional balance and concentration. Subsequently, his esoteric practice expanded, passing through initiations into Reiki, Tao and Tantra, and Hatha yoga became his daily practice. His interest in yoga does not stop there – Kalata experiments with different styles such as Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin yoga. In the last year he has been intensively practicing looking at the sun.
